Florida will host Bauducco Foods US hub

 In October, Brazilian multinational bakery Bauducco Foods bought 72 acres of the Zephyrhills Airport Industrial Park Ready Site in Greater Tampa Bay, Fla.

Bauducco Foods will spend over $200 million on a 403,000-square-foot plant to produce and sell its goods nationwide.

 Bauducco Foods, the world's largest panettone maker, was founded in 1952 in Sáo Paulo by Carlo Bauducco.

Bauducco Foods' five Brazilian factories generate over 400,000 tons of baked goods annually.

Pasco County and Zephyrhills authorized millions in economic incentives for the project.

Construction will take two phases, with the first phase projected to be operational by 2024 or 2025 and the second by 2028.

The Brazilian Association of Supermarkets named the company “Sustainable Company of the Year” in 2021 for its waste reduction and sustainability efforts.

Social responsibility measures like helping the Brazilian Association of Down Syndrome have earned the corporation recognition.
